Comedy Corner: Review Of A Naked Comedy Show In Long Beach

A tremendous thank you to Tim Chizmar, and Young Naturists America who both produce the show. There is a Naked Bike Run event on June 16th, @ 12pm in Los Angeles, CA. For more information or to join the event please go to website below:

I never been to a nudist event, and I get the impression everyone would be stripped. The event was at the Berubian, in Long Beach Cali. It's an intimate venue that has bench row accessible seats, which serves drinks and snacks. The smoking area for the venue is outdoors. The age allowed in this event was 18 years-older. My feelings about attending a nudist comedy show were surfing on unknown shores. As I arrived seeing rows of audience members fully naked took my breath away for a moment. But the openness, kindness, and sweetness of the entire venue destroyed my uneasiness. The idea behind nudism is letting go of materialism and caring people for as they are. Honesty, being in a club filled with naked adults, and alcohol there were no sexual commits, or weirdness. This was the first non-sexual event I been to, and it's not because the individuals there weren't attractive, as you can see from the interviews that was not the case. This is a place that judges the comedy for the comedy and people for personality. Review of the comedians: The host that kept the balling and laughs rolling was Kevin Lahaie and also Tim Chizmar is Laugh Out Loud Funny, Heather Schmidt sings her way to laughs, Drew Mercury with his hard New Yorker attitude knocks you into laughs, and Katie L. Hall raps you into laughs. Okay I can be corny sometimes, y'all know I wanted to work for Hallmark but dammit they reject me too, and I don't know why. LOL.

Headliner was from the film Act Naturally Katie L. Hall.

Below is the VBlog interview with Katie L. Hall, Drew Mercury, and Heather Schmidt. Check it out; all of their interviews are on the same video.
